What to expect?
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
As a data science intern, you will help us build custom solutions and machine learning models. Your responsibilities will include:
Gathering the necessary data to develop and validate the solution
Implement the solution and ensure others can use it
Research, experiment, and compare different approaches
Investigate and consider important aspects such as fairness and privacy
We are currently focusing on two core areas:
Computer Vision
Our customers range from transport companies needing to monitor secure areas to farmers tracking the well-being of livestock. Our models need to work on live feeds, and therefore annotating data and creating scalable models are challenges.
Natural Language Processing
Our customers deal with inputs ranging from documents to tweets to call center conversations. Our solutions need to account for multiple languages (i.e. Dutch, English, German, French) and cater to specific domains such as health insurance lingo or legal terminology.

Who are we looking for?
ARE YOU THE ONE?
- You are following a master in Data Science or related field
- You are result-oriented and a problem solver
- You are passionate about artificial intelligence and follow the latest news about the field
- You are willing to continually update your expertise and share your knowledge with your colleagues
- You are a real team player
- You have good communication skills as you will join a team of more than 15 data scientists
- You have a working permit within the EU
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or German is considered a plus
