Recap: Data & Innovation Conference 2025 in Düsseldorf

We are proud to say that our Data & Innovation Conference 2025 that took place on May 16 in Düsseldorf was a success! With more than 150 participants, it was an inspiring day centered around the theme “AI: Still Dreaming or Already Doing?”. The event featured insightful keynotes, real-world use cases, and engaging discussions on both the current and future impact of AI. Here are some of the highlights!

Event Highlights

  • The event kicked off with a warm welcome from our CEO William van der Pijl, where he greeted the participants to our Data & Innovation Conference 2025. This was followed by the keynote sessions, skillfully moderated by Anouk Ellen Susan as she guided the audience (from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium) through the day’s program in three languages.
  • The first keynote was delivered by Prof. Dr. David Matusiewicz, who provided a clear and informative overview of how AI could support the healthcare sector. He addressed the pressing issue of workforce shortages (currently amounting to hundreds of thousands) and illustrated how AI could be a vital part of the solution to bridging this gap.
  • This was followed by a session given by Kathinka Best and Kira vom Hagen from Smart Agency, who shared their experience of using AI to shape a new business model. Their presentation outlined how they progressed from an initial concept to a live solution in just over a year.
  • Finally, Joachim Schwichtenberg and Henrique Vieira da Rosa explored some of the common challenges faced by mid-sized companies in adopting data-driven approaches. Their session focused on the importance of strategy and guidance in digital transformation.

Mastering Data Book and Workshop

Last but certainly not least, we concluded the presentation session with a short session given by our Business Development Director, Erik Jan Hengstmengel. He highlighted four key challenges that leaders face on their journey to becoming data-driven organizations.

To support leaders in addressing these challenges, Conclusion Intelligence offered a free copy of the book “Mastering Data” to the audience, written by Erik Jan himself. In addition, we are giving away three exclusive “Mastering Data” presentations tailored specifically for senior management. These sessions are designed to raise management’s awareness of the critical role they play in the transformation to a data-driven organization and the strategic hurdles they must overcome.
