JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Software Engineer, you work on digital solutions that directly support how organizations operate, decide, and grow. You design and build reliable software for a wide range of projects, from backend services and APIs to web and mobile applications, always with a focus on quality, maintainability, and real user value.
You work in multidisciplinary teams together with Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, and UX Designers. You take responsibility for your part of the solution, understand the customer’s context, and translate requirements into robust, future-proof software. Rather than being tied to one framework or language, you focus on solving the right problem in the right way.
You continuously reflect on your work and actively look for ways to improve both the solution and the way the team works. Knowledge sharing, collaboration, and craftsmanship are key. Your contribution helps shape intelligent digital solutions that combine technology, data, and user experience.
You report to the Service Line Manager of the Intelligent Solutions department. Depending on your experience, you operate at Junior, Medior, or Senior level, with clear expectations and room to grow in responsibility and impact.
Technology stack

Backend & Frontend
- .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and/or Java (Spring Boot)
- Modern frontend: TypeScript, Angular / React / Vue
- RESTful APIs and web services
Software engineering
- Clean code, SOLID principles, async & event-driven design
- Testing as a standard practice (unit & integration)
- Strong focus on security, performance and maintainability
DevOps & Cloud
- CI/CD with Git and pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitLab)
- Containers (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Monitoring and quality tooling (e.g. SonarQube, Application Insights)
Data & Infrastructure
- Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL is a plus
- Familiar with Infrastructure as Code
Way of working & tools
- Agile / Scrum
- Jira & Confluence
- IDE of choice (IntelliJ, VS Code, Visual Studio)

Experience in software development within professional project environments
The ability to translate customer needs into high-quality, maintainable software
Experience with backend, frontend, or full-stack development, and the willingness to work beyond a single specialization
A strong focus on code quality, testing, and continuous improvement
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Curiosity and motivation to learn and grow, both technically and professionally
Fluent English and German; knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus due to our international client base
- Hybrid working is part of the role; flexibility to work from the office and at client locations is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential
